It’s almost a decade since the Nigerian sensational act, Mr May D dropped his fame

Take a rewind to 2012 when the new DMW artiste stormed the music industry and released tracks that every single was regarded as a hit. Songs like “Gat Me High”, “Ile Ijo” and more are what all music listeners want to rank on their playlist respectively.

All of a sudden, May D was nowhere to be found after discontinuing a relationship with “Square Records” which was said to be an issue of misunderstanding to start his own label “Confam Records”.

Though, he’s not the only artiste to take that step and regret it as we can obviously list out Lil Kesh, Reekado Banks, Skales, and many more.

May D New Hit "Lowo Lowo" Featuring Davido Might Still Not Revive Him - Here's Why

However, he’s signed under Davido’s DMW in past weeks in the hope to revive back his dead career with a remix of his recent song “Lowo Lowo” featuring the DMW boss.

Having listened to the song, I don’t think this is taking him anywhere.

Firstly, the tactics of Davido’s collaboration to stage a comeback from a dead music career are no longer working.

The song Lowo Lowo goes in line with the current vibe making waves in the music industry but May D would have just stuck to the fast tempo vibe he was known with.

This song sounds like an average Davido’s song, especially with the money narrative.

If you’ve listened to May D’s songs like, “Ur Eyes”, “Ile Ijo”, you would agree that this “Lowo Lowo” is a NO NO!!
