WAMPP is only usable on windows Operating System while XAMPP works on all Operating Systems (cross platform). For security, go for WAMPP. And if you aren’t running windows Operating System or you’d like a localhost that runs on all platforms, go for XAMPP. It actually depends on what you want and the OS you are running.
